He makes all things beautiful.

Who here actually enjoys running 25+ miles every week in 95 degree weather? Not me that's for sure!
On the last day of school I had this random feeling inside of me that basically told me there was nothing I wanted more than to sign up for cross country.  So, me being the spontaneous person I am, signed up for cross country and checked the box that said "definitely going out".  To say the least cross country is pretty much death and I hate almost everything about it.
After thinking about it, the feeling inside of me on the last day of school wasn't random,  it was God led.
Cross country is the worst best thing that has ever happened to me and, its the realest love-hate relationship I have ever experienced.  I cant even describe how blessed I am to have become a part of this terrible sport.  God's hand has definitely been visible and for some crazy reason He knows I need what ever it is that cross country is giving me.
now, I'm going to transform from my negative cross country runner attitude and tell you why I'm blessed because of this sport.

*The sunrise: So far this year we have had about 8 early morning practices due to the terrible heat. Even though waking up at 530am for two weeks is pretty much terrible, every morning God was faithful with entertaining me with a beautiful sunrise.

*Team meals:  For real though, who doesn't want to sit, talk, laugh and stuff your face with food while being with  teammates that you love? I mean we love each other even more when we don't have to be running. So basically to sum it up,  team meals are the bomb.

* JV SWAG: Do you have JV swag? probably not. only cross country runners can experience the real-life JV swag. Cross country is the only sport i have been in to experience JV.  Honestly, It's wonderful! There is barely any pressure and its actually kinda fun. (not really though. Cross country is never fun. Its death...)

*My inner cheerleader:  I never could be a cheerleader, I'm far too competitive and always wanting to participate in the athletic event to be a cheerleader.  But, in cross country its different. (probably because participating in the sport is not that fun) I absolutely love cheering on the runners form my team. My friend Sarah and  will cheer so much and so loudly we normally don't have our voice at the end o the night.

And, the main reason God has blessed me because of cross country is... drum role please......

*THE PEOPLE:  I cannot put into words or song the amount of love I have for each and every teammate.
God has blessed me and encouraged me so much because of them.  I love getting to know them, laughing with them and running with them.. They are all such a blessing in so many ways.
 I love Talia's sass.
I love Meghan's positive attitude.
I love Kaleb's kindness.
I love Sarah"s drive.
I love Reagen's laugh.
I love Kacie's passion.
I love Ian's jokes.
I love Caleb's smile.
I love Alyssa's humor.
I love Jed. Seriously funniest kid I know.
I love when Rachel and Jed fight.
I love Katie's Hard-working attitude.
I honestly could go on. I love everything about my cross country teammates!
Thank you, Lord for blessing me and making something beautiful out of something ugly. You truly are amazing.
